Please join us to explore this important topic with Dr. Dan Singley, Ph.D., ABPP, PMH-C, Director of The Center for Men’s Excellence.
This presentation provided attendees with a broad overview of key psychosocial elements in the transition to fatherhood and men’s perinatal mental health. The presenter addressed foundational work in the psychology of men, masculinities, and early fatherhood with an eye toward giving participants from a variety of different disciplines useful insights and perspectives on how to take a more gender-inclusive, whole-family perspective to the work they do. Participants learned bout application of evidence-based approaches to better engage fathers and male-identified parents with perinatal services, with their children, and with their partners during pregnancy and early parenthood.
